Our CEO, Mr. Shirakawa, went to Vietnam at the age of 26 as an offshore development engineer and participated in the launch of a golf information web media, growing it to a scale of 1 million PV before selling the business.He then moved to the Philippines, where he set up a fintech business and was involved in its management as CEO.After returning to Japan, he joined RiskTaker Inc., an independent venture capital company in Japan, based on his experience of starting and selling businesses abroad. During its activities, through the business support of ZE Energy Inc., it became aware that charcoal from plants can be an alternative to coal and, using its experience in South-East Asia, established a new business, NextCarbon Inc. to produce and sell biomass carbon production business from coconut shells.

Our co-founder and director, Matsushita, is a professional who has studied charcoal for more than 30 years, from his university days to the present and is also the head of ZE Energy Inc., one of the few companies in Japan whose business is to develop, manufacture and sell carbonizing equipment. His network of national and international companies involved in charcoal plays an important role in business promotion.
